it are the small signs, that unconciously make you feel uncomfortable. it are such things like the new tax-identification number, given you at birth, that allows to track all your financial activities, your life long and 20 years beyond that.
it is such a small thing like the endlessly repeated music “Für Elise” at a local underground entrance in bielefeld. This classical music piece is repeated in such a tight loop, that it gets annoying as soon as you hear it the second time. and it lets your brain explode if you are a poor homeless trying to find some shelter against rain. This is psychological warfare. against the poorest in our society.

but now there is a sign you cant really categorize as unconcious, even for the most unpolitical person like me. on 09.11.2007 german “democratic” parliament amended the law on data storage and wire-tapping, bringing us closer to george orwells “1984″ in a huge, conspicuous leap.

they do not want the transparent criminal, as they repeatedly try to affirm us, but what they really want is the transparent citicen. they want to observe you, they want you to manipulate and they want to eliminate you ( in some way, and only if it means that they sue you till you see no morning or put you in jail) if necessary.

Gestern entdeckte ich zufällig beim Surfen auf dem wohl grössten ramsch - Discounter www.perl.de eine vielversprechendes wurfspiel names X-Zylo: http://www.xzylo.com/ Das ist offensichtlich ein fliegendes Gyroskop, ganz ähnlich einer Frisbee. Allerdings liegt der Preis für dieses stück Plastik mit 10 Euro wohl einiges über dem eigentlichen Material - und Herstellungswert.

Nach genauerer Betrachtung einiger fotos auf www.ebay.de erwog ich einen Selbstbau.
dort fand ich auch diese Informationen:

Durchmesser: 9.5 cm, Höhe etwa 6 cm, Gewicht etwa 30 Gramm

Das Nachbauen hat dann auch einigermassen geklappt ( allerdings hat mein Erstbau einen leichten links-drall - habs wohl zu unsymmetrisch gebaut).

Also hier jetzt eine Selbstbauanleitung:

1. eine 1.5 Liter Mineralwasser - Plastikflasche mit etwa 8-10 cm Durchmesser (etwas stabilere plastik - z.b. diese 1.5L Coca - Cola Flaschen, also nicht diese ganz wabbeligen Plastikflaschen nehmen) so zerschneiden, so dass man einen 6 cm langen Ring erhält.

2. aus der Flasche noch 2-3 weitere, etwa 2 cm breite Ringe auschneiden. diese Ringe dann an einer Stelle auftrennen und allesamt am vorderen Ende des Hauptringes aufsetzen und mit Tesa-Klebeband fixieren.

Auf der Suche nach einem guten Python Editor mit Klassenbrowser uns so etwas ähnlichem wie der microsoft - intellisense funktion bin ich auf SPE gestossen. In der kommenden Version soll der Editor sogar die Ausgaben eines Python-Scriptes nicht mehr in einer Konsole, sondern in einem Log-Fenster innerhalb der IDE anzeigen können. reminds me of good old qbasic…
